An evening walk through the mighty Bekal fort with the breeze from the sea is just romantic.

Bekal fort is the first priority hang out  spot if you are in the district of Kasaragod.Since the fort is built along the sea shore you can enjoy on the beach park near by after the Bekal fort visit.
You can get a beautiful scenic view of the sea and the beach on the top of the fort.

And also rather than just visiting the fort you can also learn history of wars and freedom from here.

It is best to visit bekal fort during evening,so that you can enjoy the beautiful sunset.

• 2.A drive at Muzhappilangad drive-in beach (kannur).

Muzhappilangad beach is one of the unique beaches you find anywhere because at this beach you can drive your vehicle through.It is so unique that there is only one beach like this in the whole of Asia.

Driving your vehicle literally through the waves is more fun and adventurous .

Here you can drive,drift and can have extreme fun with your vehicle through a 4 km long sea shore.

Palakkayam thattu is a true adventure spot.It is actually a hill station,so that you can trek to the top and enjoy.The trek will surely challenge you physically.

Reaching palakkayam thattu by vehicle is bit difficult.You should definitely have a skillful driver and a vehicle which can handle  some off road in order to drive through the extremely dangerous and narrow road.Do not worry if you do not have a driver available.You can hire  a off road  taxi for around 300 rupees.

You can also enjoy some adventurous events like zorbing,zipline,rope course,etc..after reaching the top for separate tickets.

Palakkayam thattu has got a suicide point which is a extremely dangerous place but at the same time a enjoyable one.There is even a waterfall near by.

It is highly recommended to visit palakkayam thattu in the early mornings.If you cant visit during the mornings evenings are the best.

SM street is famous for calicut halwas(sweet meat) and that is where the name SM came from.

You should definitely try the calicut halwas and banana chips form here because those are the typical calicut food.

The small shops and vendors you see here is so classic and those which really matches your vibe.

Chembra peak is a destination that can give you a hard trek because the way to the peak is very steep,hence it is a place for those trekkers who like it to be hard.

You can see a unique heart shaped lake at the top of the peak.It also offers a beautiful panoramic view from the top.

Thekkady or Periyar wild life sanctuary is India's largest wild life sanctuary and a home for a large variety of animals.

Periyar lake is situated in the middle of this dense forest and a boat ride and sight seeing through this lake with only forest on both sides will be a unique experience.
